CP
An ambitious music artist with big dreams, questionable decisions, and enough confidence to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. CP is charismatic, expressive, naturally funny, and completely convinced that his latest idea is going to work—even when everyone around him knows better.
“Sweet, hear me out. I know what it looks like—but I actually got a plan this time.”
“DO YOU SEE THIS?! Nah, nah, nah. Don't walk away. LOOK AT IT.”
“Everybody keeps telling me to be realistic. Since when did being realistic ever make somebody legendary?”
Grounded, observant, and armed with a dangerously dry sense of humor. Sweet is usually the voice of reason beside CP's chaos, but she's far from boring. Her reactions, sarcasm, and perfectly timed one-liners can say more than an entire speech.
SWEET
“CP... I'm going to give you exactly five seconds to explain why you thought this was a good idea.”
“No. I saw it. I just made the decision not to participate.”
“You know I believe in you. I just need you to believe in a plan every once in a while.”
Panrox royalty. Jonathan Beige is the star player of the Chariots—confident, disciplined, charismatic, and accustomed to being recognized everywhere he goes. Underneath the celebrity image, however, JB is still deeply connected to his neighborhood and the people who knew him before the fame.
JONATHAN BEIGE
“Crowd gets loud, cameras start flashing... none of that matters once that ball touches my hands.”
“CP, talent gets you noticed. Discipline is what keeps your name on the building.”
“Panrox knew my name before the rest of the world did. I don't forget things like that.”
Quiet, thoughtful, and emotionally perceptive. Micah isn't interested in being the loudest person in the room; he'd rather understand what's happening before everyone else does. His calm exterior makes the moments when he finally speaks up hit even harder.
MICAH
“You ever notice everybody gets real quiet right before something goes wrong?”
“I wasn't ignoring you. I was trying to figure out whether you actually wanted advice or just somebody to agree with you.”
“I don't say much. Doesn't mean I don't notice.”
SHAE
Bold, sharp-tongued, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore. Shae brings chaotic energy wherever she goes and has absolutely no problem saying what everyone else was thinking. She can be hilarious one second and dead serious the next.
“First of all, don't look at me like that. I didn't start nothing. I just finished it.”
“Oh, this is definitely a bad idea. Move over, I'm coming.”
“Keep playing with me if you want to. Just don't act surprised when I stop laughing.
Old-school Panrox with presence, wisdom, and absolutely no patience for foolishness. Uncle Marcus has lived enough life to recognize trouble before it arrives. He can be intimidating without raising his voice, but underneath the tough exterior is someone fiercely protective of his people.
UNCLE MARCUS
“See, your generation's problem is you don't recognize trouble until trouble got your address.”
“I already told you not to do it. Now you're standing here asking me what to do because you did it.”
“Whatever happens out there, remember something—you take care of your people.”
Harmony
Harmony is Pixie’s younger sister and one of Panrox’s newest young adults. She’s energetic, observant, affectionate, and completely convinced that turning eighteen means everybody should stop treating her like a kid. She hates being underestimated, loves being included, and has a habit of discovering information she probably had no business finding.
“I’m eighteen. You can stop giving me that look every time I leave the house now.”
“See, you telling me not to look just made me wanna look ten times harder.”
“I know you’re trying to protect me, Pixie… but sometimes I need you to trust that I can figure things out too.”
DRE
A respected neighborhood figure with an old-school mentality and a reputation that carries weight around Panrox. Dre is calm, calculated, and rarely wastes words. He doesn't need to announce himself; people already know who he is and when Dre gives advice, there's usually history behind it.
“Young blood, there's two ways to learn in this city. Somebody tells you... or the city shows you.”
“I don't do favors. I do things for people who remember when it's their turn.”
“Panrox changed. Buildings changed. People changed. But some things around here never did.”
RENEE
Unfiltered, energetic, and somehow always involved in something she probably shouldn't be. Renee doesn't go looking for chaos—at least according to Renee—but chaos seems to know exactly where to find her. She's expressive, dramatic, fiercely loyal, and naturally hilarious.
“Okay, before you get mad, technically... technically... this was not my fault.”
“Why are we running?! Nobody told me we were RUNNING!”
“Listen, I can explain everything. You're not gonna like the explanation, but I absolutely have one.”
Smooth, fashionable, confident, and always looking like he knows something you don't. Malik carries himself with effortless cool and rarely lets anyone see him rattled. His humor is understated, his observations are sharp, and his loyalty runs deeper than he lets on.
MALIK
“You doing entirely too much right now. And somehow... I'm still listening.”
“I told you that wasn't gonna work. You didn't listen. So now I'm just here for the ending.”
“Nah. Jokes aside—if something's wrong, tell me. I'm here.”
Warm, commanding, hilarious, and deeply rooted in Panrox. Nanny is the kind of woman who can feed you, pray for you, scold you, and uncover your entire lie without ever leaving the kitchen. Her love is unmistakable—but so is her authority.
NANNY
“Baby, I love you dearly. Now sit down somewhere before you make me forget that.”
“Don't come in my house telling me half a story. Start from the beginning—and this time tell the truth.”
“I've been in Panrox longer than you've been alive. This neighborhood remembers more than people think.”
